FiltraCore Asia’s LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF™ Series comprises a complete portfolio of hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane pleated cartridges engineered for sanitary, biopharmaceutical, high-purity industrial and food and beverage filtration applications. Developed around high-performance PVDF membrane technology, the series delivers ultra-low extractables, exceptionally low protein binding, high flow rates, low differential pressure, microbial retention capability and stable particulate removal across a broad range of critical-duty liquid processes.
All LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF™ cartridges are manufactured using PVDF membrane with polypropylene support layers, polypropylene core and cage assemblies, and thermally bonded adhesive-free construction to minimise extractables, ensure mechanical integrity and maintain consistent retention. The series supports sanitary, bioprocess, food-grade, high-purity industrial, and commercial applications requiring accurate, application-driven membrane performance.
PVDF VARIANTS
LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF-LB™ – Low-Binding PVDF Membrane Cartridges
Designed for biological, pharmaceutical and critical bio-liquid processing, LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF-LB™ uses a hydrophilic PVDF membrane characterised by ultra-low protein binding, low extractables, high flow rates and broad chemical compatibility. The membrane structure supports rapid wettability, reliable microbial and particulate retention, and high-clarity filtration performance across biological agents, antibiotics, culture media, serum-based intermediates and blood-derived liquids.
Cartridges are 100 percent integrity tested, serial-number tracked and manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. They utilise fully thermal-bonded construction with no adhesives and support 125 °C steam-in-place compatibility.
LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF-SAN™ – Sanitary-Grade PVDF Membrane Cartridges
Designed for sanitary and bioprocess manufacturing environments, LFX-CPLEAT-PVDF-SAN™ uses hydrophilic PVDF membrane with PSU or stainless-steel sanitary end-insert options, ensuring dimensionally reliable fit in sanitary housings. The design offers very low extractables, low protein adsorption, high flow rates and repeatable microbial retention, supporting applications such as culture media, vaccines, biological agents, food and beverage clarification, cell-culture clarification and protein purification.
Each element is 100 percent integrity tested, manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification, and validated for 0.22 μm microbial retention using Brevundimonas diminuta ATCC 19146.
