FiltraCore Asia’s HFX-SS-BF-MB™ Stainless Steel Multi-Bag Filter Housings are engineered for high-flow, large-volume liquid filtration where reliability, uptime, and throughput are essential. Built from SS304 or SS316L, with optional Duplex 2205/2507 or Titanium Grades 2 & 7 for highly corrosive environments, these filter housings provide robust mechanical strength, broad chemical compatibility, and stable long-term performance under demanding industrial conditions.


Their multi-bag configuration offers high dirt-holding capacity, reduced change-out intervals, and consistent processing flow, supporting continuous operation in utility, chemical, and general liquid-handling systems.

  • Bag Compatibility: Standard Size #02 (7″ × 32″) filter bags; compatible with felt, mesh, pleated, melt-blown, depth-loading, and absolute-rated media (1–1000 μm); precision-machined basket seats ensure positive sealing and minimise bypass
  • Configurations: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 bag housings; flow capacity ~40–480 m³/h (water @ 25 °C, ΔP ≤ 0.5 bar); larger designs available on request
  • Housing Material: SS304 or SS316L (standard); Duplex SS 2205/2507 for offshore/chloride service; Titanium Grades 2 or 7 available only on special request; shell and cover thickness per ASME/PED design codes
  • Basket Material: Perforated stainless steel (SS304/SS316L), TIG welded and passivated; optional electropolish for sanitary service; typical perforation 3–4 mm for low ΔP
  • Seal Options: Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone, Viton® (FKM), PTFE, PTFE-encapsulated; USP Class VI elastomers available
  • Closure System: Swing-bolt or eye-bolt cover with davit arm (standard); optional hand-wheel swing-bolt for high-frequency access; covers equipped with safety bleed/vent ports
  • Inlet / Outlet Connections: Side-entry inlet with bottom outlet (standard) for full drainage and uniform distribution; side-outlet configuration available for compact skid layouts; flanged ANSI Class 150 / EN 1092-1 PN16 (DN50–DN350 / 2″–14″); JIS B2220 and other standards available on request
  • Vent & Drain Ports: ½″ BSPT (RC) vent (NPT optional); 1½″–2″ drain ports for safe depressurisation and complete vessel emptying; CIP/SIP compatible
  • Pressure Ratings: 10 bar (145 psi) standard; 16 bar (232 psi) reinforced high-
    performance; economy 6 bar (87 psi) not typical for stainless multi-bag housings and generally omitted from catalogues
